Big Game Species
Year round hunting is available for big game species.
Big Game species include Polynesian boar, Spanish goat, and Vancouver bulls. We have maintained a 98 percent success rate on our big game hunts. For the ultimate big game hunt inquire about our Big Island Grand Slam hunt, which includes harvesting three species.
Polynesian boars are known for their fierce temper. They flourish in rolling grasslands and dense forests. Mature boars weigh 200 pounds and sport up to 6-inch tusks.
Spanish goats are known for their keen eyesight and exist in rugged terrain. Billies weigh 100 pounds and their horns span up to 30 inches.
Wild Vancouver bulls sport up to 35-inch wide horns and weigh up to 1000 pounds. They lurk in the ranch’s remote dense rain forests. Wild bull hunting is not for the weak at heart.

Upland Game Bird Hunting
Season extends from October through February. Our Spring Turkey Hunt runs from March 1st through April 15th. Tours operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays.
Pointing dogs, German Shorthair Pointers, are used to pursue 12 species of game birds found at Parker Ranch. Kalij, blue and ring-neck pheasant, Erkels, black and gray francolin, Chukar partridge, Valley and Japanese quail, Rio Grande turkey, Sand grouse and Lace neck doves.
Preserve Point System
Animals hunted on preserve land are regulated by the point system with a maximum of 14 points per day per hunter.
