Hunting Information
Parker Ranch offers a variety of scenic hunting areas spanning approximately 150,000 acres and ranging from sea level to 8000’ elevation. We offer a wide variety hunting terrain and game species. Museum & Visitor Center
Explore the Parker Ranch Museum and Visitor Center located in the Parker Ranch Center offers a self-guided tour through our Parker Ranch Museum and a 26-minute presentation of the history and operation of Parker Ranch. Hours of operations are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday. Last tour given at 4:00 p.m. Admission is just $8.00 per person. No reservation is needed.

Tour Historic Homes & Private Art Gallery
Mana Hale and Puuopelu and their lovely gardens may be toured together 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday through Saturday (closed Sunday). Last tour given at 4:00 p.m. Admission is $9.00 per person*, includes tour of MANA HALE and the gardens. No reservations are needed, but you may call 885-5433 for more information, map and directions. Puuopelu is also available for special family and company functions as well as elegant weddings. Catered events for groups of various sizes can be accommodated.

Horseback Riding
Horseback Rides give visitors the chance to feel like Hawaiian paniolo (cowboys) as they ride through old stone corrals where up to 5,000 Hereford cattle were rounded up after being brought down from the slopes of Mauna Kea. A visit to the rodeo arena and racetrack where Parker Ranch Thoroughbreds were trained and still hold the record for speed is included in the excursion. Rides all begin at the Blacksmith Shop on Pukalani Road. Click for map and directions.

ATV Rides offer visitors an opportunity to explore areas of the vast 150,000-acre working ranch. Two scenic routes are available. Both provide visitors the opportunity to learn firsthand about Parker Ranch and its absorbing history while observing beautiful landscapes, stunning vistas and a variety of plant life.

Puuopelu Gardens
The manicured gardens surrounding Parker Ranch’s historic homes overlook the sweeping Waimea plains, along with a pond and historic pumphouse. With paid admission to tour our fabulous homes, you can enjoy your picnic lunch in a garden setting. Based on availability, space and staff requirements, groups of various sizes can be accommodated.

Parker Ranch Store in Waimea is the Big Island’s destination for western wear. The store is brimming with women’s, men’s and children’s western clothing perfect for a day on the range or a night on the town.
