Artist Vivian Ursula Hosted by Puuopelu Gallery

Award-winning artist Vivian Ursula will be hosted by Parker Ranch¹s Historic Home at the Puuopelu Gallery, for a showing of her works from November 12, 2006 through the end of the year. The artist¹s preferred medium is acrylics while she also has found success with printmaking and multi-media collages. For Ursula, her art inspiration is life itself. To her, the interacting color, forms and rhythmic movements in her art are lively and provide basis for her own interpretation and inner voice. Ursula, born and raised on the Hamakua coast, pursued her painting and printmaking skills at the University of Fairbanks, Alaska where some of her paintings were purchased for their collection.

The historic homes of Mana Hale and Puuopelu, along with their gardens and the Gallery are open to the public 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Admission* is $9.00 for adults, $8.50 for seniors and $7.00 for children younger than 12.
